  • The oldest player to contest the Italian league is Marco Ballotta who played his final game for Lazio at the age of 44 years, 38 days whereas the youngest ever footballer to compete in the league was Amedeo Amadei, who made his debut for AS Roma at 15 years and 281 days!
  • Internazionale’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic of Sweden scored the most goals in the 2008-09 season (25)
